Is my car covered when it is at the garage being repaired or serviced?

Yes, your car insurance will continue to cover your car when it is being repaired or serviced by a member of the motor trade. It is also covered when being parked by an employee of a hotel or restaurant.

If I borrow a courtesy car, will it be covered by my policy?

This cover is usually provided by the garage under their policy. You should check before driving away.

If they are unable to provide cover, call us and we may be able to arrange temporary insurance cover for you. There will be an amendment fee for this service, but the courtesy car will have identical cover to your own car.
